I recently purchased a unique Super-8mm Time-Lapse set-up originally made in Mountain View, California by a company called TIMELAPSE.

This unit was probably made in the late
70's early 80's and came with no manual. It features a Eumig camera in a metal housing with a massive computer on the bottom that can be programmed to do various time-lapse sequences...therein lies the problem.

The fig trees are growing in my yard and I can't properly program the time-lapse computer to capture this magical event!

I have no manual for the unit...anyone knowing about the company called TIMELAPSE, in MountainView, California or know a super-8 expert who could help me...please contact me.

I've figured out most of the programming knobs except for two, and it's driving me crazy.

Wow! I'd like to see what that thing looks like. I've never heard of the company or the equipment, so I can't be of much help. I suggest your post your query to as many different places on the Internet as possible, in hopes of finding someone who can answer. Definitely do so on alt.movies.cinematography.super8 on Usenet.

Alternatively, there are many Super-8 cameras with built-in time-lapse features. The only one I have is my Sankyo EM-40XL, and that's all I use it for since none of my other cameras have intervalometers.

    Good luck!
